“Environments” is the collective exhibition in which Alexander Lobaina participates in the framework of the XIII Biennial Havana in Matanzas city.
The exhibition consists of 100 pieces from the series “Fervor de Cuba” (made in acrylic on cardboard and two works of “Seduction of power” (acrylic on canvas).
Its creator returns to retake the expressive codes of Pop art, to achieve establish a discourse in which runs certain moments in the history of Cuba in the last 60 years.
A proposal with great symbology supported by interesting, conceptual visual structures, even with certain airs of irony, both social and political.
