This is how the European artist defines himself
Mirko Sevic, creator of the so-called Old Continent, imbues a great sentimental load to their works.
His professional career is marked by the events before and during the war in the former Yugoslavia. The theme of birth, life and death as processes are present in many of their sculptures, oils on canvas and drawings.
The artist is a member of the Society for Art of Imagination and was one of the participants in the 8th International Contemporary Art Biennial of Florence.
As an identifying element follows the proposal: “Without a doubt, I immersed myself in the darkest corners of the spiritual destructiveness of a human being with the hope of describing it, of staying a while. The humility of those who suffer captured my sensitivity. ”
Sevic becomes the second European artist to be part of Artecru‘s catalog of creators and a selection of some of his pieces can be found in this space.
