CONTEMPORARY LEADER. Acrylic on canvas, 180 x 110 cm
It is the title of the proposal of this creator in the XIII Biennial of Havana.
“The pleasure of creating free of ties”, is one of the concepts that Adrián Socorro follows in the pieces exhibited in Matanzas city during the development of the XIII Biennial of Havana that will be open to the public during this month in this part of the event.
The use and strong presence of white in a chromatic planimetry in which red and some shades of gray intermingle, the figuration recreated from the creator’s worldview, feelings of loneliness and in some moments of uprooting, the mystery of where I am and where I’m going, are some of the formal and conceptual concerns this time.
Four pieces executed in acrylic on canvas, are presented in a space in which a multiplicity of thoughts can emerge as a result of the context in which they are framed.
Other pieces with aesthetic patterns to these can be found in his profile in the community of creators of Artecru and in his studio – workshop located in the Narvaéz Street.
