The frottipia is a novel technique in the universe of plastic arts.

More than a dozen pieces are the new proposal of Jorge J. Gutiérrez Salomón as part of his creations.

Made in frottipia, a technique of his invention, the works presented on this occasion have an artistic and conceptual superiority fruit of their personal and aesthetic evolution.

The creator demonstrates a consolidation within his career and especially in this new way of doing in the plastic arts, where Afro-Cuban religiosity is always present and in which the meeting of two different cultures and the conformation of a new one is expressed.

With a size of 100 x 70 cm, the spectators have before them unique compositions of their type within contemporary art. An element of particularity is that they have the appearance of engraving but they are not.
