Work: “El Álbum”, mixed media on cardboard. 100 x 70 cm

The creator presents their latest artistic productions in the Cuban capital these days.

“In Smell de Crowd” the most recent collective exhibition of Frank David Valdés Hernández will be inaugurated in the central and well-known Cuban Art Factory in Havana, Cuba; this Saturday, January 26th .

The mixed technique on cardboard was selected by the young artist on this occasion to make the two pieces he presents in the sample: “Between the courts ” (100 x 50 cm) and “The Album” (100 x 70 cm), both of the year 2018.

Those who attend the exhibition will have before them visual scenes in which the artist returns to intermingle and return to the civilized nature of man with his anthropological past.

In these compositions the represented characters reflect processes of alienation, commodification, interpersonal relationships, decisions that mark a point of inflection and that serve both as the beginning of a guiding path and compass and show that they continue to live in that immense herd called “human society”.

Diversity of intentions embodied from a particular vision of its author.

Valdés Hernández develops his professional career also as a designer of literary publications and a professor at the University of the Arts (ISA). A selection of his work can be found by those interested in his Artecru profile.
