
Artist resorts to figuration to express her visual concerns.
The feminine face as the center of her visual discourse, usually executed through the graphite technique on cardboard, has become a hallmark of the work of the creator Sheyla Castellanos Romero in recent times.
Like other visual arts professionals, she has combined her creative work with teaching at the School of Plastic Arts, “Roberto Diago Querol” in the Matanzas city.
Possessing several awards, her work has been exhibited in different spaces of contemporary art in Cuba. From this month, those interested can find more information about her artistic work in the Artecru`s community.
