Artecru incorporates new disciplines of the visual arts.

Edel Arencibia sculptor, designer and ceramist of the city of Matanzas integrated to the catalog of creators of Artecru.

Graduated of the National School of Plastic arts, he acts at the moment as president of Council of Sculpture of the Environment from the year 2008.

Their creations embrace several institutional and cultural spaces of Cuba, for example in the ceramic murals of the University of Matanzas and in the Varadero Beach.

The sculpture has become the road communication of the artist’s with his public and inside her the ceramic as form of creative expression. He takes advantage of to the maximum the space and the sculptural supports as base of sustenance what takes to a contemporary speech.

He has in his professional career several exhibitions so much personal as collective and some of their creations are in the permanent collection in the Museum of Art of Matanzas, Cuba.
