The event was inaugurated at the headquarters of the Union of Writers and Artists of Matanzas.

“Dressing the story ” (2018) was the proposal presented by the creator Daniel Rodríguez Ramírez in this year’s edition of the Winter Salon convened by the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba at its headquarters in the city of Matanzas.

The collage as a way of expression, the combination of material elements with the canvas and the human body as the center of the composition; are some of the most representative elements of this piece, created from a contemporary worldview.

Its creator tries to represent from a “somewhat reflexive questioning” the existence and the diverse human behaviors by means of the juxtaposition of certain elements that culminate in a pictorial scene with renewed airs in the visual arts.

The event will be open to the public until January 20th, 2019.
